Description: Shantell Martin’s new DVD, KOOB’S, features a diverse collection of short videos that demonstrate the artist’s playful inventiveness with both the concept and tools of drawing, which in Martin’s case include more traditional media such as the humble marker alongside a WACOM electronic drawing tablet and packing tape. Canvases utilized range from projector screens to mock computer tennis to the human body to the outdoor landscape in its entirety.
